With “Precision wrench” in forward gear, the fastener is raised to full speed until the tool begins to strike. As soon as this happens, the tool stops, then impacts at 3100imp/min if additional torque is required.

“Precision wrench” in reverse, impacts at high speed to loosen the fastener. Once the tool detects that the fastener is loose, it slows down to prevent the fastener from stopping.

In “high mode”, the tool operates at full forward and reverse speed.

In “low mode”, the tool turns more slowly forward for more delicate fastening applications, but turns at full speed in reverse, where the high torque poses fewer problems.
